I just moved from Iowa to Texas. Delta Dental told me I had to buy a new policy in Texas, so I did. When I went to the dentist he told me I had to wait 6 months before they would cover anything. Delta Dental is a bunch of separate companies that don't honor each other as far as prior insurance goes. Of course they don't tell you that when you sign up and their advertising says "No waiting period" Don't believe them.

Can’t find a dentist that will accept adults
Delta Dental is a joke. Their health care wont cover you when you have a cracked tooth and get it fixed. They are trying to act like my cracked tooth is not covered. Do not give this company your money. Decline coverage and pay for coverage the dentist. This place does not take care of their customers.
