I recently attempted to file a grievance of a dental office in Brooklyn ny. This office of which I have reviewed stated they will not perform the service they were contracted to perform with delta dental because it would be at a lost to them. Worst dental insurance you been warned.
Delta Dental’s behavior has been absolutely disgraceful. I paid my 2025 insurance premium in full, and under our agreement they were supposed to return $1,000 to me. They took my money immediately, but when it came time to honor their own promise, they suddenly became impossible to deal with. For months they have held onto money that does not belong to them, while hiding behind delays, excuses, and incompetent customer service. Don’t do it! Hard to believe, I know. God as my witness, this is true. They sent me a letter about my coverage. I called. They CAN’T FIND MY POLICY. I’m looking at my claims and stuff on their portal. I offer to send them a screenshot. Still, they tell me I’m not insured there. Yet I have paid claims just 2 weeks ago.
