I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Delta check-in counter at LAX during the registration to the flight DL 7 to Tokyo on Monday, 27Oct. I am a Delta Amex Gold member, which includes complimentary 1st checked baggage. However, the manager assisting me, Jonathan, insisted that I needed to pay a $75 baggage fee. Great experience, nice customer service
If I have to fly domestic again, bever would I choose delta. A surprise $35 checked baggage fee and a 3 hour (so far) flight delay. This company sucks.
