Like this review if Delta customer service is largely incompetent. Gave me options 3 days from now after having a mechanical issue and canceling a flight. Then was trying to get me to fill out paperwork to apply the credit from that trip to my replacement trip You gotta be kidding me, I’m not doing your work for you. Don’t have an aging fleet, incompetent pilots (“I don’t know why but the computers not working folks”) and charge premium prices. I recently experienced an extremely distressing and unprofessional situation while traveling on Delta Airlines via a codeshare flight originally booked with WestJet (Flight WS1105, scheduled to depart from LAX to Vancouver at 20:45 but delayed). I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Delta check-in counter at LAX during the registration to the flight DL 7 to Tokyo on Monday, 27Oct. I am a Delta Amex Gold member, which includes complimentary 1st checked baggage. However, the manager assisting me, Jonathan, insisted that I needed to pay a $75 baggage fee.
