Nice place, nice price – I have a nice 2 bedroom apartment and I pay just $500 a month. For this price I was not expecting anything fancy, just a good, safe, clean place close to work. I got just that with my apartment here. Not sure what issues the previous reviewers may have had or why they needed to vent but I have no problems with my place or with the maint staff. Plenty of "baby mama drama" to keep the local police busy (who ironically have a sub-station in the apartment complex), and slow (if any) response from management when it comes to any matainence needs. Generally a safe neighorhood, however you get what you pay for.. They claim "central air conditioning", but it really is a window unit that is placed INSIDE a closet that runs through central vents...not quite the same thing. not a very good place to live – i would have to disagree with the 2 reviews giving it a thumbs up to live here.i have been here 3 yrs.and nothing but problem after problem. i have had several floods in my apt. never once was it cleaned and sanatized just carpet in that area pulled up and replaced, there is mold growing in the apt. i have need several things done/fixed in my apt. and after a year of asking sent maintenence over and still nothing fixed!!! i have asked to be moved out of this apt.and im told they need to inspec... read more
Delshire Apartments – I am a Mount St. Joe student and have lived at Delshire for over a year. It is a very nice place for the low rent I pay. My roomate and I have never had any problems except for a few minor parking issues that were quickly resolved. I save a ton of money living here versus dorm living! There is a security company and Delhi Police driving thru regularly and that is great peace of mind for us! Don't get me wrong, these are not fancy apartments with granite or stainless appliances but they are extremely nic... read more
Very Nice and Affordable! – This is a very nice complex. The neighbors are friendly, good maintenance people and it is very close to schools, shopping, food etc...Rent is very reasonable.
Decline-Shire – .....Oh, how times have changed. Once a BEAUTIFUL complex in the heart of the "Floral Paradise of Ohio" (Delhi) the Delshire Apartments are fading fast. Having grown up there, and still visit friends quite frequently, it's sad to see a formerly wonderful community turning into... this. Current problems stem directly from the management company that purchased the property several years ago, and got the "flood" of 2002. Their response? Delay, deny, deceive.
