We loved our experience with Windsurfing lessons through Delmarva Board Sport Adventures. Tom, our instructor, was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and a great teacher. He got my 10-year-old son and I up on separate boards and having fun in no time. I woke up the next day disappointed that I wasn’t back on the water windsurfing again (and we both can't wait to do it again). We highly recommend this experience, and Tom as an instructor.
We had booked a paddle board lesson and got a phone call well in advance that the conditions were not optimum. Janis, who was very polite and helpful, gladly give us a refund. I very much hope to update my review in the next few days after I have my first paddle boarding experience with Delmarva Sports.
Super easy booking online for a tandem kayak rental. Check-in at the bayside concession stand was a breeze. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Looking forward to purchasing a kayak from them after having such a great experience!
Our group of 4 newbies booked the lesson and guided trip. Steve, our guide (in Dewey), was excellent—extremely friendly, and super helpful. He took a lot of photos on his phone for the group (none of us had ours for fear of dropping them) and airdropped them to us after, including several posed in front of a bald eagle in a tree.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Scheduled 2 hour kayaking for family of 4(was less expensive then other places I checked out) One person in our group was nervous and the staff was very reassuring and eased fears. Made the entire experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
The owners and staff are incredible! I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area.
