My mom had a knee replacement 2 years ago. She recovered at Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. The experience was wonderful. From the admissions process to the discharge. The staff was kind and caring. She is having her 2nd knee done in November 2012 and is so happy to be coming to Delmar again. She stated that she would not have the surgery if she could not come to Delmar. We look forward to another AMAZING experience!
What a great experience myself and my family had. My grandmother had such a wonderful time at Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. We continue to brag at family functions and work gatherings on how appreciative we were while our "Granny" was at Delmar for rehabilitation.
The staff- particulary the admission staff (sonya) are some of the rudest people I have spoken to. I wonder why they are in this business without a caring bone in their body. They lie and make up stories to cover their own butts. Do not waste your time with this facility. If the staff is this rude, I can only imagine the awful care they give. Great Place to Retire!! – My parents moved into Delmar Gardens 3 years go and it has been a truly wonderful experience. My father-in-law also resides at Delmar and is very happy with his stay. The staff are excellent, taking time to get to know the residents and the administration is professional and caring. The activities are endless and grounds and facility is always clean safe. I would recommend Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett to anyone who is open to a pleasant experiencce.
Wonderful Experince – My grandmother has been a resident at Delmar Nursing Center since summer 2003. Delmar is her home and she loves it. She loves the routine and likes that it is convienant for her family to visitor. Delmar has tons of activites throughout the year that the whole family and great- grandkids can participate in that have become family traditions. (Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Feast) We highly recommend this nursing home and feel that the staff are apart of our extended family.
Don't Trust Your Love One With THem – Terrible. After being in the hospital for over a week the social worker told us that they had a spot for my mom where we had been trying to get her into, Delmar Gardens. The paperwork was sent to them by the hospital, my brother went there in person to see if they needed any deposit and we moved our mothers things from an assited living facility to storage.
