RecommendedWe went on Saturday. The crafts were awesome. The rest has a lot of improving to do. We got thetr at 830 didnt get in til 925. This was due to the ticket situation. They had 4 people or 3 scanning each ticket. Also we were told no tickets needed for soda instead it was tickets soda water and food and wrist band for beer. The lines were horrific. RecommendedWe have been coming to Dell'Osso farms for years for all the different events they put on for the community. The Bacon Fest was by far the biggest they have ever put on. I didn't even know the property was that big! This is my review for the Bacon Fest event. I think the entry fee was a little expensive for a first time event. So, I’ve been thinking about this for a few days since our disastrous experience this past Saturday at Baconfest. Something that might be more successful in the future is more along the lines of a Beerfest. Patrons pay a single fee per person and get a small sample from each booth. This would move the lines along faster since you are not giving out/selling full sizes. RecommendedThey definitely need to work out some kinks but I'm sure with suggestions it can be fantastic! We went early because we had a friend in the cooking competition and we had a great time with that, fun seeing Guy and yes he was late so that caused it to run over and the band warming up across the field was interfering and hard to hear Guy talk. We bought our tickets months and months ago. We were excited to go to this event. We are bacon fanatics and seeing Guy was just going to be too cool. Well not so much...... extremely long lines for everything. no notification on any of the food vendors whether or not they were a "cash" only or "ticket only" vendor. We found this out the hard way by standing in line for 45 minutes only to find out that our tickets were no good at this vendor. RecommendedMy family and I enjoyed spending Father's Day at the bacon fest. From free parking, delicious food, wonderful music, and, of course, meeting Guy Fieri, our visit was terrific. All the dads in our group were smiling, and, our littlest cuties had fun, and, loved it, too. My little granddaughter loved the play areas, and dancing to the music. RecommendedWe had a great time even though there was a lot of bumps in the road. Instead of being negative about your experience. How about tell the farm suggestions to make next year better. We traveled a long ways to this event and we made the best out of our trip.
RecommendedAfter reading the terrible reviews we almost didn't go today. I am glad we made the choice to go. We had a much better experience this morning! I could see how frustrating it would be with long lines and crowds but we had an amazing family day. Just what dad wanted. We went with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised!!!!!!
Overflow parking lot entrance was brutal. Not for cars that have low clearance. Already made me skitchie about paying to go in since we seen so many people leaving early and noone seemed like thet were enjoying themselves. So we go back to car and wait in line that does not move to exit. Decide to take alternate exit and scrape my car twice and took 20 minutes.
