I have been coming to this Salon for about 5/6 years. My hairstylist is Jeannette and I would not change her for anything in the world. She listens to your wants, she is honest in giving you suggestions and has a very pleasant personality. You get what you pay for!!!
Decent haircuts, but wayyy overpriced – I went here a few years ago to get a haircut after moving here for college. A few of my friends went, and said the prices were manageable, i.e. $35 for a cut. I went to them for a haircut, and had an older Asian man cut my hair. He was pretty good, and my hair looked the way I wanted it when he was done. Not worth the money – I went and got my eyebrows waxed and a manicure, and both were a waste of money. The girl did an alright job with my eyebrows but she got some of the wax in my hair and when i pointed it out to the receptionist she just pointed me to the bathroom and kept talking on her cell phone. The bathroom was really nasty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, there was trash and dirt on the floor and that sort of thing really grosses me out. Bad experience – Got an aweful choppy blunt uneven haircut (like a 5 year old was let loose with scissors). Tried to have the stylist fix it, but basically after they tried to cut a couple pieces as I asked (and made it worse!!) gave up. Left in tears. Luckily got a very understanding, kind, stylist on the re-do who actually listened to what I wanted. Best Brazilian Waxer in Boston -- Vicki Graff – I wrote on Yelp after my first time with Vicki at Dellaria (August 2007). She is amazing. I went to her based on reviews I also read online. I wasn't taking any chances with a less-than-professional job. She walked me through it step by step, explaining what was going on as she worked. Awsome staff ! – I been to most of the Dellarias in the area but my favorite it the one in the north shore mall.. the staff all gets along and keeps you laughin they all do a great job !
great colors,cuts,blow dries,and customer service – I love going to Dellaria on Comm. Ave. near Kenmore. Maureen does my hair(I followed her from Newbury St.), and she's the best! WhenI first went to her another hairdresser somewhere else had totally ruined my color, but Maureen completely fixed it without ruining my hair in the process. Sandy's great... the curly-haired devil on floor 2 is the one who makes you want to cry. – Dellaria on Commonwealth is pretty good... depending on who you go to. I've seen three different stylists here, and the one I kept going back to was Sandy who works downstairs. This girl knows how to cut hair,. I've had full foil highlights by her, which, for the price, is about as good as you're going to get in Boston (it was 170.00 for the cut and a full foil combined). inexperienced staff – I don't typically write bad reviews about places I go to on a regular basis however lately my experiences at dellaria have been less than satisfactory. I normally come to dellaria for my nails and hair.......if your looking for great hair I recommend Jason. He's funny and listens to what you want out of your hair.
