Went to get my 3 month old tested for flu and Covid they said test came back negative and I knew something wasn’t right bc she was lethargic so I went to a urgent care right after and she tested positive for the flu twice bc I had them test her one more time I tried calling and left a voicemail about my concerns and no one has reached out my main concern is they accidentally got test switched up so another child could be getting treated for the flu and may not even have it
If you have an autistic kiddo be prepared to not be heard and thrown in a padded room. Doctors take no initiative here and request psych before even taking a temperature. But they will spend 30 minutes trying to get a heartbeat reading and call 3 people to restrain a sick autistic kid to do so. Oh yeah they will alert the authorities if you dare disagree with their opinion. I would t call it a diagnosis based on lack of diagnostics done. Dells Children has always been absolutely amazing in their communication and patient care. Just that our teen needed to be there for care and resulting in medication adjustment was nerve racking, but we really did feel that he was going to be in good hands and he was. The social workers, drs and staff were all just the best. Thank you Dells Children <3
