I wanted to give a shoutout to Clara the child life specialist. She is amazing!! I also wanted to give a shoutout to the nurse from the pic team (I am sorry I did not catch your name) for advocating for my baby instead of just sticking her 99 times. Everyone was so nice and tried to ensure her procedure happened smoothly!!
Went for a routine x-ray a while back. Two technicians plus one operating the computer was in the room. They had my son sit on a handmade box that was very unstable and he almost fell off of. In addition, they didn't seem like they knew how to work the machine and had to re-do the x-ray 3-4 times before they said they got the image and even then the image was blurry. Dell Children’s finding a way to lower the bar for hospitals! Would give 0 stars if I could, but I can’t unfortunately. . Just as all the other parents have commented, Dell Children’s DOES NOT fax your results to your pediatrician for months after the appointment. They won’t do it until you call in, but it is near impossible to get in touch with anyone. Tl;dr - imaging told us that they faxed ultrasound records to our pediatrician 5 weeks ago for a sizeable lump that continually grew on our daughters head, but they never act... read more
My son is a preemie and l can't feed him until I get a swallow study. He hasn't had a bottle since January and it June now. (Gtube fed) they scheduled the appointment 2 months away. They day before the study they tried to reschedule because they did not have authorization from the pediatrician. So not only did I miss breastfeeding and bottle feeding.
