Dr.Skette and staff are always there to help you. I been going to Dr.skette since I was 21 I'm now 2. When I was pregnant they took GOOD care of me. As long as I'm living and she's still in practice she will always be my doctor. Continue the great work ??
I had the worst experience of my life using this awful office and doctor. The office staff are the most incompetent people I have ever seen. They ruined my glucose test results, sent me for an unneeded ultra sound (the doctor laughed about how it made no sense my OBGYN sent me for the ultrasound) Sheila NP laughed it off when I told her. They charged me $370 extra til I caught it. After birth I was in tons of pain and she tested me then ignored my phone calls for weeks 4 prognosis!?!?
I absolutely LOVE Dr Skeete, but I just can't take her staff anymore. The wait times are atrocious, they are completely unhelpful when you need information, AND they actually charged me for a procedure that was covered by my insurance. I only found out about it when I needed an itemized bill for my FSA account. After having me wait in the lobby with my small children for over 45 minutes, they finally told me that the charge was incorrect and would be refunded.
Dr. Skeete is an amazing doctor and she takes time to explain anything that needs explaining. She is willing to give women the chance to VBAC and will be supportive of their birthing decisions as long as it is safe to do so. She is more midwife than surgeon and amazing! I wish that all women had access to Dr. Skeetes when preparing to give birth.
