First experience. I live locally. Had the RJ’s Fried Pastrami Rueben; it’s one of their signature sandwiches… Not very good! It’s on a Hogie Roll and not grilled Rye. The vinegar based coleslaw was three times thicker than the meat and it was warm; coleslaw should be cold! Between the mustard, the coleslaw and the pickles, the sandwich was VERY vinegar forward; pastrami was hardly noticeable. They also only have a macaroni salad, no potato salad.
This place is a hidden gem. Only been here a few times but every time the sandwiches were delicious, fresh and had a unique take on old classics
