Dr. Nieves seemed to genuinely care about the appropriate course of treatment and I felt she listened to my concerns without judgment. She made me feel like I had a role in my treatment and she was open to my suggestions while also ensuring that I received the treatment I needed. She was very warm and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with Kaiser insurance.
I would like to say that Dr. Nieves-Arvelo has been the best psychiatrist I have ever been able to work with. For anyone with Kaiser insurance I would highly recommend her. She is warm, she takes the time to really listen to what you have to say and she never once made me feel as if I was being talked down to. Every appointment felt like an easy conversation to insure strategies for my success were working. She has a style that open, warm, and welcoming and she is always on time.
