Do Not let you child go to this school!!! Trust me when I say they are in bed with DCF 100%. If you do a visit to check it out, take note of how many parents are there visiting their child. Not because they don't want to visit. At first, no problem. Then your visits will get diminished or stopped completely with the help of the state. Just look around for yourself if you visit. I would also give a negative 5 if I could.
I have a daughter that goes to the school, they are so self-centered. So she is 14 and she has moderate autism, and I just don't like the way that they are to her. I mean she does go to the higher class in the school, when she was at the residential program, I kept on noticing that every overweight child is on low-carb to lose weight, everybody's beautiful the way they are, and they don't need to lose weight. Kids seem engaged and interacting with their peers! Just not what I want to do with my fieldwork degree but it is one of the top places to apply too!
