I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan yearly at DOC since 2021 for a diagnosed retinal hole. This year‘s visit was absolutely terrible. I got my eyes dilated by the assistant and sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours. Finally Dr. Kaplan saw me and spent <10 minutes with me. Despite talking about my retinal hole diagnosis for the last 5 years, I was told today it just looks like retinal thinning. Very disappointed that my appointment with Dr. Barrett had to be canceled this morning. I felt the staff were acting incompetent, and I was treated like a number. 1st, I'm told to sign a "refraction form" for a procedure they couldn't or didn't want to bother explaining. It turned out that I didn't need it. It had just been done several months ago, so I saved $62.
