This is an excellent school! The teachers are very good. The school salon is AMAZING! Reasonable prices and the students are really up to date on the current trends and know how to consult and give you the look that you want.
Great job all the time. Courtney Williams is amazing, not only with styling your hair, but teaching you about your hair and how to care for it. Great prices and service always.
They really do a great job with the students! Nothing beats a hands on learning experience, and nowhere beats the price for their services. Just be patient, as they are students, it can take longer than a regular salon. However, would you rather they "know it all" and rush or continually speak with their instructor throughout a detailed color service to avoid mistake?
Haircuts are only $9, If you want a blowdry with your cut it is only $11. I always tip $5, more if I get coloring. Have been going here for years and only had one bad cut. Don't forget to ask for the card that they punch. After ten cuts, the next one is FREE. They do an excellent job with coloring, which is also inexpensive. They do everything a full-service salon does. And the instructor checks the student's work, too, so you'll never have a bad cut.
Overall it was nice but I left with very greasy hair (I guess because of the conditioner)and the very nice girl I had was rushed almost the whole time which I believe effected her performance.
