RecommendedI adopted about four kittens from there, when it was Del Co SPCA! Now, even though they are a no kill shelter, they are still after money. I have no money to take care of the cat and kittens that I would love to keep, but it's not fair for the animals if I can't take proper care of them. I can't afford to pay for the first shots or anything else!!!! Mama was not my cat and I didn't know she was with kittens, when I agreed to keep her for a "few" days!!! RecommendedDr. Hummer at Providence is literally a life saver!! Our previous vet had given up on my cat, who had severe anemia--mostly because we did not have the financial means to follow the vet's advice. Dr. Hummer and her staff continued treatment on my cat and managed to get him stabilized until we were able to take him to a specialist. It was not all about the money at Providence, unlike some other vets! Providence also continued to assist with med refills without the huge upcharge! So grateful!
RecommendedWent in on Wednesday and adopted Taffy a loving cat. The shelter could not have been nicer. The staff was friendly and are total animal lovers. I am so happy that Taffy was with such loving caring people before she found her home with us
