RecommendedI adopted a very sweet and very dog reactive adult pit from Providence. She was a long term resident due to her reactivity. Even though it was a very large adoption event, they spent a lot of time and care making sure she was the right fit for me and my home, they also gave me extremely helpful information on what to do if she becomes reactive and how to train her effectively. Miss Drizella 💜💜 adopted on Labor Day 2019 (original name Avocado). She is our little spunky princess of the house! PAC was so efficient, thoughtful, and caring to each animal and parent. Drizella’s foster mom has been in contact since the day we adopted her- which is SO great! The girls working in the kitty room were so helpful and knew everything about each individual cat. I was so impressed! I couldn’t recommend a better place to find your forever baby!
Great place for getting your “forever” dog or cat. Facility nearby completely rebuilt into a clean, bright place for the animals. Offers low cost veterinary services, training center plus offsite adoption and outreach events. Dedicated staff and an awesome group of volunteers who help keep things running and growing. So many pitbulls, and they hide the fact that they're pitbulls. Most of them are behaved awfully- tearing at the cage. Don't adopt from here if you have children, elderly, doors that slam, a phone that can go off, live on a noisy street, have a fence that's less than eight feet high, or other pets.
We went to the labor day event. They were extremely busy, but still well organized, helpful, and friendly. Also one of the cleanest shelters that I've seen.
Very clean place extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff.
PAC has a wonderful facility with wonderful volunteers who graciously take in our southern dogs and give them great homes! Thank you pac!
