Very upsetting, didn’t like what I saw. Lack of communication between staff and supervisors, didn’t like seeing what staff did when they got frustrated. Don’t like how some staff talk to clients, the day program was sad to see, clients sat at table alllll day with no attention no stimulation nothing. Staff on cell phones and not engaging. The home I was assigned to had staff threatening to call police on client just so she would behave. I spent a few weeks and left as soon as I could.
I did a tour here, but I can't say for certain what it truly is like as I choose not to join. It is very loud and the atmosphere is that of a school and warehouse. Staff seemed nice and I didn't see anything concerning. However if you or your loved one can not deal with loud noises including music, talking, and echoes, or lots of people or crowds, it will likely be too overwhelming and overstimulating.
