I have been a patient with DeLand Smiles since early 2017. Dr. Mathias is very thorough in his exam and detailed. He explained what my "musts" were and included optional treatments, all in terms I can understand. He is very attentive to his patient's needs. I have always been very comfortable in the office surroundings and during treatments. The staff is exceptional in their work and making sure of your comfort. I have been to many dentist in my 70 years and have only liked three. One being Dr. Mathias. I had some traumatic experiences when I was younger and had such great fear whenever I had to go in. Dr. Matthias put me at ease immediately and gave me pain free dental work. Now I have absolutely no worry when I need work done. What a relief......Thanks Dr. Mathias and his associates.
