I am very disappointed to be writing this, but unfortunately the solution to our issues that we experienced here at the Delamar this past weekend was not up to anyone’s standards. My husband and I decided to travel to this supposed 4-star hotel for our wedding anniversary. We saw the reviews and were so excited. The check in was even delightful! If you're looking for nice on every level this is your place. Only ate a double cheese burger but it was delicious too
I paid just over $130- for the room rate in the winter, which was honestly a steal for the quality of the hotel. Yes, the coffee bar and mini bar prices are outrageous. The outdoor pool and hot tub weren't open even though they were supposed to be, but I still thought it was a great stay for the price.
Even though it is the winter on the bay we had a lovely time at The Delamar. Outdoor heated pool in the snow was fun. Hot tub and sauna were wonderful. Staff helpful, room was nice and clean. I made sure they didn’t charge me for anything I didn’t eat or drink out of my room, and they never did. Everything was clean. I will say the atmosphere is more like an adults only resort. I have 4 kids but I really appreciate that it was quiet and relaxing. I wouldn’t bring my kids and that’s okay.
