Its clients grew to include NASA, the United States Air Force and Navy and the major U.S. aerospace firms, including Rockwell, Lockheed, McDonald Douglas and Boeing. The company's research into the use of titanium and aluminum alloys in led the company to produce an initial line of lightweight valves for racing engines in 1978.
