My pepperoni pizza tasted great, but it must’ve gotten tossed around in the car on the delivery because all of the cheese & toppings were on the roof of the box & all on one side of the pie when I opened the box. Still enjoyed it after attempting to fix it as best I could.
I am so over Del Vecchios. Do you have the best pizza in town? Sure you do. You just can’t deliver a pizza in less than two hours. If you actually let people know it’s going to be that long, then people could decide whether or not to order. Making me wait two hours for a pizza once? Shame on you. Making the girls I’m watching wait an hour and a half for pizza, and it’s not even here yet, and their Mom tipped you 20% in advance, AND the girls now need to go to bed, but are crying for pizza? We did everything possible to fix it, though I believe this review was posted before you called us (the order was refunded and the kitchen manager offered to drive it there fresh himself). If you call first, we will always fix what we can in real time. Again, we apologize for your wait and our inaccurate time estimates that night.

After a long cold day of driving the parkway and hiking, we sought out some Chicago style pizza and we were Not disappointed ! It was amazingly good—best pizza we had in a very long time. Couldn’t even eat 2 pieces each!
Wonderful find. Absolutely delicious meal. On my favorite restaurant list. Can’t wait to try something new next time. But, as always the Chicago deep dish does not disappoint. Yumm!

Food delivery was extremely late a full half hour past the latest time estimated on the GrubHub order confirmation. I did contact restaurant inquiring about my food. The first time I was told it's on the way. Fast forward another 20 minutes still no food so I call again and was placed on hold for 5 minutes to receive a rude "well listen I have customers here to deal with it'll be there sometime manager saids delivery driver is on the road" and then before I could ask anything or speak was hung up on. We had an extremely busy night last night and didn't have enough people to answer all the calls that were coming in - though that is no excuse for you to have been spoken to rudely on the phone.
