Who puts a Big Boy statue in their family-run, hole in the wall burger-raunt? Apparently, Del's Charcoal Burgers off Polk and McKinney in Richardson. The restaurant had been here with the same grill for 63 years. Now I'm excited. i order the Texas Cheeseburger Combo and grab a Del's Lemonade to drink. First thing I'm interested in is the fries. just like I remembered when I was 12 years old. use to deliver Richardson Daily news , then ride my bike over here for the Hickory burger and frosty root beer. just awesome.
What an iconic place! My first time tonight and everything was wonderful! All served hot and fresh and with a smile! Great service and delicious home made root beer! Can’t wait to return!
