I STRONGLY urge you to find a different dentist and if you are a current patient, please check your billing statements and confirm your out of pocket costs with insurance. I was a new patient of Del Ray Dental and they made me pay upfront what my ESTIMATED out of pocket costs were for the new patient visit/cleaning that day and a future root canal totaling $2,000. EDIT: Despite two rounds of antibiotics, removal of the incorrectly attached crown, and a root canal, all by other another dentist and specialist, the tooth could not be saved and the infection spread to her jaw, so my wife had to have the tooth extracted and a bone graft, and once the wound heals will need an implant to fix Del Ray Dental’s mistake. UPDATE - This review is for Del Ray Smiles, not Del Ray Dental Center. They have similar names and are in the same building but they are not the same practice. Google incorrectly moved my review to Del Ray Dental Center, which I have never been to. I hope google corrects their mistake soon as the Del Ray Smiles is a great! They are all very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend them for friends and family in the area!
Just had a cleaning today, happy to report, no cavities. Mom would be proud. Dental hygenist was top notch, she explained what she was doing each time and my teeth feel fantastic. Solid. Dr. Kim was awesome as well. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and addressed each concern I had. His positivity Is infectious. Solid doctor. Will be back for my fourth cleaning later this year.
