I stayed in the Hope & Crosby Room. The room was very dirty with dust and hair throughout. Had a black stain on the bedcover and stains on towels (had to request clean towels). The bathroom floor was so dirty that the bath mat turned black from the shower water. We paid extra for a private balcony with a mountain view. The balcony and furniture were filthy, so we did not spend time out there. Also, the balcony had frosted glass panels, and you could only see the mountain if you were standing. Del Marcos is an awesome little hotel. Classic palm springs feel and amazing service. José is the best. Great dude and always there to help. Do yourself a favor and book a stay with these guys, would recommend 100%.
Starting with Maria at the desk we were welcomed with energy and joy. She poured us a glass of Rose was accommodating of all the travelers different timelines, and got our trio off to a great start with excellent knowledge of a local. The hotel is like stepping back in time. Charming, clean, and perfectly Palm Springs. It’s historic so you can tell it’s seen some years but the staff does a great job keeping it up.
