Loved my stay at Del Marcos Hotel! The whole place has a really cool, relaxed vibe and feels like a perfect Palm Springs getaway. The property has tons of character, the rooms were comfortable, and everything felt clean and well cared for. The location is great too, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. I really wish I had read more reviews before booking. The location is awesome. The front desk staff and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The room (Wexler) was cute but in need of some love. Im not super fussy but when the price of the room was on average about $500/night,I kind of expect non-ripped (and thicker towels) a clean kitchen(while super cute) and non-stained tables/furniture. Love this hotel. Such detail in the rooms and amenities. The private outdoor bath and fire pit made the stay so relaxing and unique!
I ultimately decided to cancel my reservation after seeing consistent concerns about cleanliness across multiple travel sites. Unfortunately, the reservation was nonrefundable, so I’m out $350 plus despite choosing not to stay. I hope the hotel takes the repeated feedback seriously and puts more focus on improving its housekeeping standards.
