I genuinely like Dr. Rey as a person and trust him. He's very companionate and understanding. Will continue seeing him for sure.
He's gone from just OK to completely ineffective in the short time I've been a patient of his. This may be because of Advent Health's priorities but he's still responsible for his now ineffective performance. My last, and final, appointment with him was pointless. I waited beyond the scheduled appointment time to get into an exam room (nothing new - the patient's time isn't worth anything), waited longer for him to appear, and was then rushed out of the room before I could talk to him about everything that was on my mind. I had an appointment with Dr. Del Rey on 12/7/23. When I called I set it up as a wellness visit. It was also my first visit with him because my primary care doctor had retired. Since I thought it was a wellness visit I only spoke to him about wellness, and he did wellness bloodwork. I was surprised when I received a bill for the appointment and the lab work. I have never paid for a wellness visit since my insurance covers it at 100%. I have spoke to a few people in post billing and they did a code review, they said there is ... read more

Dr. Rey is a great primary care doctor. He is personable and takes the time to listen during appointments. I feel like he is genuinely interested in helping patients live overall healthier lives, not just treating problems as they come up. I am very confident in Dr. Rey's knowledge and judgment and always feel like his advice is practical and well-reasoned.
