BUYER BEWARE! After DelAir bought Simpson, we had a technician come for maintenance of our 3 year old HVAC on Oct. 16th. I agreed to the $259 Annual Precise Comfort in order to get preferred service in case there's another hurricane. But thnking back to the sales aspect of the technician's visit, I changed my mind the same afternoon. Florida law is clear in the contract: refunds are due if cancelled within three days. 0/5 - I used this company due to their name being on the unit when we had hurricane surge damage. I figured they would have some knowledge of the unit and likely had been the original installation company. The tech showed up 3.5 hours late (had to take the entire day off) but was nice enough. For the record, I certainly was patient and understanding on this delay given the hurricane recovery efforts. Since Simpson Air has merged with Del Air we have not had good service. About five years ago we were big fans, now like the rest of many major companies, it seems to be more about the money and less about the customer. Very transactional. We have bought a new home and weren't happy to hear that yet again, our service warranty was through Simpson/Del Air. Simpson air now del air is lacking In leadership. The son Gary jr took over for his dad when he sold the business and then the business didn’t tell the customers. We've had an agreement for parts and labor with Simpson air as they installed services into our new house. We’ve had nothing but issues since then with poor communication from them about parts and delivery. Our last part was due in September.
