Major issues with roaches and mice. Specifically in the older buildings. Had to constantly buy glue traps and caught about 10 mice while my mom lived in this apartment. Trash chute was always full and backed up. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
My sister is a resident here at DeKalb apartments. Her apartment is simple put, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! THE RESIDENTS ARE QUITE AND I COULDN'T TELL IF ANYONE ELSE WAS LIVING HERE BECAUSE IT'S SO QUITE! 5 star apartment home INDEED!
The building in the evening has the smell of marijuana. Building refuses to enforce its own policies. Do not rent.
One of the only places in the county that is not infested with insects and rodents. There is a slight mice issue but was taken care of quickly and I have not had any issues. Maintenance can be delayed by a week at most. The staff are friendly. We are in the classic building. The kitchen and other areas in our apartment have never been renovated, or haven’t in the past 10+ years, but they’re still in good shape and I really don’t mind much.
