My sister is a resident here at DeKalb apartments. Her apartment is simply put, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! THE RESIDENTS ARE QUITE AND I COULDN'T TELL IF ANYONE ELSE WAS LIVING HERE BECAUSE IT'S SO QUITE! 5 star apartment home INDEED!
Major issues with roaches and mice. Specifically in the older buildings. Had to constantly buy glue traps and caught about 10 mice while my mom lived in this apartment. Trash chute was always full and backed up. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The building in the evening has the smell of marijuana. Building refuses to enforce its own policies. Do not rent.
