Dr. De Jong was very sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. She gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had and took the time to address all of my concerns. She was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. De Jong as an OBGYN.
I waited 6 months for an appointment with Dr DeJong for chronic pelvic pain and urogenital pain symptoms and she was useless. She doesn’t deal with pain conditions and isn’t knowledgeable enough to give any direction. She simply told me there is a pain clinic in Toronto I can look into myself and did not provide a referral. She also told me that the local estrogen cream I had already been using wasn’t something she would have prescribed because I would need progesterone, which is incorrect. I have been seeing Dr DeJong for about 10 years. I was first referred to her when I was pregnant with my son. She was so knowledgeable and experienced and excellent during the delivery. She also put in my IUD after his birth. She happened to be on call the day I went in to labour and she was already at the hospital the day I went in to labour. No matter how many times I have seen her and talked with her on the phone. They still have not sent any of my tests to my family doctor. Last time I talked to her on the phone she said go see him. I have twice since then and still nothing. He cannot help me till he gets my results. How is he suppose to help like she said if you do not do your job? Do not go see this doctor no one cares to do their job.
Dr. DeJong is very kind, caring, and actually listened to my concerns! Would definitely recommend her.
