Really!? So today I went to Deja Vu to start a consignment account...I am completley appauled. Please know that before I gathered my clothes, washed and ironed them for them, I called to see if they were still taking fall/winter clothes. I was told yes for adults only...mind you I have many New York & CO. and Express button down buisness shirts, a leather jacket (real) and suits. When i get there the mgr/owner refused to look at my clothes, she did not hand them back to me, she just about threw them at me. I am 6mo pregnant ... read more
She keeps your money. Never do consignment with this store if you care anything about profitting off of your clothes. She designates 1 day every other month as a pay day and offers 2-3 "pay days." I missed mine on November 28th by one day and she told me that everything had sold but she couldn't print me a check til the next pay day on Jan. 30th. I went on that day and she told me that nothing ever sold and that she was sorry. I lost $100-200.
New fave store :) I went to Deja Vu for my first time today, and I will definitely be back!! Im from birmingham and had a friend tell me about it so I decided to bring a few things and consign them. I brought them in and the manager and the girls working were so sweet! I was curious about consigning for the first time so i asked about how much i would get for my stuff and i was shocked how much i would be getting in comparison when i used to take them to platos! DeJa Vu Consignment "An Upscale Resale Boutique" DeJa Vu pay consignor policy is as follows: Any time any day our door is open 6 days a week you may pick up your consignment check... Not sure who Lindsey K. is or what store she has DeJa confused with but that is a flat out lie.
Loyal Customer for Over 13 years I've been shopping at Deja Vu since I was in high school because the owner and employees are really sweet and they have awesome clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. for great prices. They will actually pay out anytime. I've never gone there and been denied payout from my account either. I can always trust that the clothes will be top of the line for a fraction of the cost.
Deja Vu Consignment Shop This place will pay you pretty decently for your clothes that you no longer wear. They also sell the clothes they buy, of course, and they have a pretty big selection of different items for kids; mostly for women. I'm not a big fan of thrift shop clothing shopping, but, this place here actually has newer looking clothing than a lot of other consignment shops. PROS: none CONS: none
