I had an excellent physiotherapy / running gait assessment with Jared today! Jared is friendly, kind, and INCREDIBLY competent and knowledgable. I left the appointment feeling great and with a ton of insight about my biomechanics and movement patterns. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Jared to improve the discrepancies we discovered. Thanks so much for the fantastic appointment Jared!

As a client, I believe Defy is the best approach to physiotherapy. Rather than simply giving clients a list of exercises to do (and let's face it, they never get done daily...never), they actually incorporate physio into a physical activity/workout app that leaves folks better off in the long run. After all, health care would be so much cheaper for all taxpayers if we kept ourselves physically fit to begin with. The app is awesome and keeps me accountable! Defy works on the long game. Currently working with Jared on the rehabilitation of my ankle injury in preparation for my upcoming half marathon. Working with Jared has been incredible! I met with Katie Wood today for an initial assessment of a groin injury I suffered playing hockey. She’s an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent physiotherapist. She was very personable and provided a comprehensive list of activities for my recovery in the weeks to come! I highly recommend Defy Sports Performance & Physiotherapy

I absolutely love this place. The staff are so friendly and so knowledgeable. My physiotherapist is amazing. You can tell she truly cares and wants to help. She helped develop a manageable exercise program for my busy schedule as a full time nurse and mom of 2 young kids. Any time I wasn’t able to complete my exercises or went overboard, she helped me course-correct without criticism or judgment, instead offering understanding, support, and reassurance.
