We had such a horrible situation. Our very much loved bunny Judy broke her leg in such a bad way that we didn't have a lot of practical options to fix it. Her vet was WONDERFUL in helping me understand my options, the risks as well as positive and negative potential outcomes. When I ultimately made the decision to put her to sleep, the staff made a HEARTBREAKING situation as painless as possible. They were respectful, kind and caring and even sent a sympathy card. Went to pick up pills for my cat. Said I needed to get an appointment so they could run some more tests on her. Had to wait a week for an appointment. Charged me same price for a week’s supply of my cat’s pills as I normally paid for a 3 month supply. Said they have a minimum charge for animal meds now. Also another cat had pancreatitis. Said if I didn’t leave her over at a 24/7 medical facility she would die, 0% chance of living. Price...$1200. Took cat home and nursed her back to health. All they want is your $$ BEWARE!
I would just like to say how much I love Defiance Veterinary Clinic, they have been there for my fur babies from day one, check ups and procedures. They love on my two boys the same way I do. Lil Banx is so comfortable when he goes and Binx they cuddle him perfectly because he is always a nervous wreck at the vet but the staff and Dr. Renae put him at ease everytime. I definitely recommend this clinic to pet owners.

I had originally left a bad review on this page. Because I had one bad experience. This morning though my rabbit got real bad. He couldn't even walk without falling. I knew he needed to be put down and it being Sunday I knew nothing was open. I called the emergency number because I had brought him to this vet before on several occasions. The vet met me at the clinic a half hour later. She gave me time to say goodbye.
