We booked Windfall for a surprise proposal, and Raffi and Lisa made it absolutely perfect. Raffi was a phenomenal sport playing along with the surprise — a genuinely great actor — and helped the whole plan go off without a hitch. Beyond that, they're just wonderful people: warm, welcoming, endlessly generous with snacks, food, and water, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful birthday celebration on the Defiance today! Perfect sailing weather and a perfect sail! Lisa and Raffi are a skilled tandem who deftly attend to the needs of their guests while under sail, sharing great stories and experiences while reaching speeds of 8.1 knots in rolling seas. It was a truly exhilarating experience!
My fiancée & I, had a phenomenal few night stay aboard the windfall. Raffi & Lisa are the best host, it was truly amazing watching them guide us from port to port. Also Lisa's cooking is outstanding! Highly recommend!!
Wow, what an unforgettable New England experience aboard the Windfall! Rafi and Lisa truly love what they do, and it shines through in every part of the trip. We weren’t sure if the weather would cooperate, but the communication leading up to our sail was thorough and reassuring. Fabulous experience sailing with friends aboard the elegant Windfall. Captain Lisa and Captain Raffi were gracious and knowledgeable hosts. Tubing from the zodiac was exciting for the young, and the young at heart! Best way to experience Cape Ann is by boat, and Windfall/Defiance Sail Charters checks all the boxes!
