I had scheduled an epidural steroid injection in my neck on October 26. They were prepping me for surgery and the nurse couldn't get my IV in she stuck me once in each arm, and when that didn't work, she went into each hand, which was very painful because she kept digging around to find the vein. After four pokes, they called in the anesthesiologist, who tried my right arm again and failed. He decided to bring in the ultrasound machine to find the vein.
