The historic buildings are more interesting when you can get a guided tour. The QC is indeed fortunate to have such beautiful mansions dedicated to culture, art and community service. They held the first Porch Party and opened up a tour of the tunnel from Butterworth house to the "garage" today, too!
Beautiful place. Would have loved to see more but was only there for a meeting with my horse association. I loved looking at what I could see though.
Great place to visit and learn about the history of the quad cities.
I brought my 3 daughters for the drop in tour and Barbara was amazingly patient with them! We got a private tour as we were the only ones there today, and so she was able to give them a very age appropriate tour as well as answered their thousands of questions! The girls LOVED their time and couldn't stop talking to their dad about it over dinner. Thank you!!! We can't wait to attend some of the events in the future.
What a great resource for the many nonprofits in the area. We are so glad to be able to utilize this gorgeous venue!
