We bout our home in 2021. We've had nothing but problems sine we moved in! The floors rotted, French doors and windows leak (specificallythe kitchen windows). They send people out to "fix" leaks and within a month they are leaking again electrical! We've also had electrical problems, plumbing, custom kitchen quartz countertops cut wrong with a huge gap, and the list goes on!

We bought our Deer Valley because at the time the reviews and comments all over were great. Apparently, something huge has changed. Our home was delivered in October 2021 (3 months late) and we have had problems from the beginning. The HVAC ducts aren't connected, the master bedroom floor is fall off, the outside doors don't seal and the storm doors they gave us are dammed and don't fit; and too many more things to list. Now they won't even respond to us concerning the problems. we also know of another couple that had t... read more

I have contacted Deer Valley Homebuilders and have asked for quotes on three different floor plans Oct 2 2020 and on Oct 16 202 I have yet to hear back from anyone! If this is their customer support for prospective customers how will they treat you after they have your money?

Less than a year of being in our Deer Valley Home we started to have problems with our flooring. We contacted the proper people and got the run around for months. ZERO help!! After much research we have learned many people have had similar issues. $120,000 home and we will have to have the floors and subfloor replaced. Poor craftsmanship and terrible customer service.

A Lemon House We purchased a 2011 Deer Valley and had it custom built. It arrived mid-July2011 and the heatpump didn't arrived until almost mid-Sept. We started moving in the house in Nov. We have had constant leaks(our water bill has been awful) to the point our last water bill showed a use of over 20 thousand gals of water. There is a GFI problem. The hole for the dryer so far out that our dryer would have been sitting in front of the return air. The commode in bath 3 was moving when getting up. We have had mold as a resul... read more

Unsatisfactory We purchased the Brewton in Spring 2009 and received it June 30, 2009. There were issues, as is the case with all homes, but the delivery/setup went fairly well. The trouble began when Deer Valley began the interior work of connecting the 2 sections and repairing the damage from delivery. (sheetrock cracks, multiple blow-outs caused damage to the insulation under the home, etc) The 2 guys that performed the work had insufficient tools, knowledge, or experience and totally "screwed" the job. They weren't even D... read more

Cold and wondering I recently purchased a home in Nov. 2009 the Arbor View, based on the quality that I saw in the model home, the issues I have have been small but none the less I feel there shoud not be any issues since this home was built in a control clilmate and by a model that they built all the time. Alot of my light fixtures had paint on them and the door open to the wrong side in the utility room, the floor in the master bed room squeaks when you walk across it and the front door had a chip in it, it has been about ... read more

Floor and wall problems We bought a double-wide Deer Valley home in Spring 2007 because the homes seemed very well built. When the house arrived, we weren't allowed to go into it. We waited 6 weeks before we were able to even walk inside the door. We finally discovered that the two sides didn't match up. It was put together anyway before we knew what had happened. Deer Valley never intended for us to find out that information. In only a few months, sharp ridges were forming under the tile and carpet. Crews were sent several ... read more
