Greenhaven Modern Dentistry Greenhaven Modern Dentistry -- Well, I usually never write a bad review, but this one is necessary because if there is no warning, others could be hurt or damaged. Over a year ago, I had a root canal done at GMD and every time I went in, there was another large copay. Although I had Delta Dental, GMD charged me over $2,000. If I could give zero stars, I would. This dental office is predatory and dishonest. I came in for treatment while in significant pain--vulnerable, desperate for relief--and they took full advantage. Instead of billing my insurance, as any reputable provider would, they billed me directly, forcing me to pay out of pocket on the spot. I later discovered that they had overcharged me by more than $2,000. They never made any real attempt to run the charges through my insurance, despite having my policy information. Very nice staff but too pushy on extra procedures. I just want my teeth cleaned twice a year cause my insurance pays for this 100% but, today they wanted $105. Also they still want to put fluoride on your teeth and act like you’re crazy for not wanting a neurotoxin in your mouth.  Needless to say, they’re fired

Please be forewarned My wife needed to have tooth #29 drilled and filled due to cavities. Well, their assessment included a number of unnecessary procedures to jack up their profit. Included were root canal, crown, pulling teeth, scaling, periodontal consultation, etc. Almost $7K. We were fools to trust them with tooth #29. After 6 hours in their office, and $3,218 dollars later she had a root canal and a temporary crown. It fell off a couple days later, so another trip to their office, and waiting (long wait times are th... read more

Title: Stay Away -- Misleading and Disappointing Experience I called over 10 dental offices before choosing Flamingo Smiles Dental. Every single office, without exception, told me that the first appointment with my Liberty Insurance would include an X-ray and a standard teeth cleaning, along with recommendations based on the results.
