Tried scamming my wife and lying to us about required filings. Then illegally asked us to provide medical documentation in order to reschedule the appointment. Will be filing a BBB and Attorney general complaint, as well as a fraud charge for refusing to refund us the deposit. We have been customers for years. They only care about money now, awful dentist.
Absolutely the worst office to get Dental care. They misinform and use scare tactics to get patients to do procedure that are not needed in order to bill. Unethical and borderline illegal. Sent patient to get a 200.00 out of pocket test because they had detected a bacterial infection and antibiotics were needed. Guess what? test came back and magically NO BACTERIA or antibiotics required.
My first impressions were excellent. However, my understanding was that my insurance company would cover my crown at 100%. Before going into the procedure room, I was given a document to sign. Chantilly Modern Dentistry Doctors and staff are angels in disguise! After a couple of rough years and being terrified of the dentist my daughter had destroyed her teeth! Not only did Chantilly Modern Dentistry fix her mouth to perfection but did it with love and care! She needed multiple procedures and the cost was something that I was very stressed about. I have the estimate saying my cost for crowns would be 1299. I called Kaiser and DeltaCare and my cost should be $317, plus if they add a special material, they can add another 150. They are hoping you don’t know what your insurance covers and what your co pay is. CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FIRST BECAUSE THEY WON’T TELL YOU. They also found 2 cavities. We made appointments for 4 of us 2 different dates 3 weeks prior and changed 2 of our appointments times a week prior. Took off work for the appointment because it was during early afternoon and received a phone call from the office an hour before our appointment telling us we need to either cancel our appointment or they can only take one of us for some reason or we would have to wait extra 30 minutes. Disappointing Experience: I regularly visit the dentist and walked into Hudson Oaks Dental and Dr. Allan Lane’s office as a new patent at the six-month mark of my last routine appointment elsewhere.
