gun shot just today and tweakers libe in a field right by the place that break into cars and steal them as well. lost $1,500 speakers due to this issue. live here at your own risk.
We love it!!! Moved in last month to a 3 bedroom. Clean, nice, management is awesome, those girls are so friendly and professional. Excellent location, very well maintained landscaping, nice neighbors. We will defiantly be signing a new lease when ours is up. Chris Vieira
It's not a bad place to live. Kids are everywhere all hours of the day (and nights Friday they Sunday). Parking is OK but not enforced much. NO SAFETY/SECURITY. I personally had my truck broken into and stolen here twice. And that's only in the last 3 months. It's not a bad place if you do all your own security (car alarms, door and window locks or alarms). All in all its good I just wished I'd know these things I mentioned before I moved in.
If you like having your garage broke into, or management who really doesn't care then move here. Plenty of shady people to make you not want to let your kids play outside. If something breaks then I guess you have to deal with broken. Current staff is rude and will lie to you... and Yes there is better in this town for the price... Welcome to the Deer Run projects!
The people for the most part are nice. However, the crime rate is high especially if you have a garage. I think the rent is a bit high for just a normal family not on section 8.
I would suggest if u want a healthy clean stable apartment for a family u so not move into deer run apartments ive been here a shport tyme & on a yrs lease they do not talk to tenants they post notes on ur door they will make accusations about u just by hear say they judge u predjulasly & give twenty day notices without even knowing the situation they put many families at high risk many good people cannot fight they never fix anything until its in writing wich means its normally too late then blame the tenants for damage the... read more
This place couldn't be much nicer. Your review is quite snobby. I am more than delighted to see my son moved in there. Shop around and find a better one when the lease is up if you think there is one. No need for slander though.
DO NOT RENT HERE! – Oh my goodness....if you are even considering an apartment at Deer Run...STOP NOW!! I'm not sure what is going on in their office but the company is constantly changing office staff so you never get the same answer twice. Also...if you do end up renting here, hand deliver your rent checks...DO NOT use their rent drop box. Hand deliver every check and get a receipt!!!
