They say luxury apartments, not even close. Maintenance fixes things every now and then. No fitness center, hot tub, no proper management. When they redo an apartment when someone leaves, half ass work. The outside stairs are so bad and falling apart, they just do patches here and there. It’s a safe place to live, I’ll give them that. But l, that’s it. There a place off bluff city highway that has a one bedroom one bathroom apartment with a garage for 64.00 more than what I paid for the one bedrooms here. My daughter currently lives here. January 2024 it came a big snow. When school was finally back in session she walked her 7 year old son downstairs to get on bus. In the five days before the complex had not shoveled the sidewalks, they had not cleaned nor cleared snow and ice from parking lot. My daughter took a horrible fall that resulted in her breaking her knee cap in four places. She had to have surgery the next day having a plate and screws put in her knee to put it together. Higher priced apartments a few years ago but nowadays it's pretty common so I'd give deer run stars because when I rented there I coukd walk across the parking lot to the pool. With its own changing room and shower. There's also a tennis court and basketball I do belive. The last owners where a bit much but there under new management now. We are going on our second year at Deer Run and are satisfied customers. Yes, due to several variables beyond the control either of individual and or corporate responsibility rent rises. Costs of living inevitably increase over time, not withstanding, the cost of housing maintenance, utilities, damage repair, damage control, insurance, payroll & associated taxes, other taxes, and yes...the list could go on.
