Updated. I would not recommend Deer Mountain Apartments. For the entire 12 months of my lease, I've had an ongoing mold problem that was never properly fixed. Every time I reported it, maintenance would simply paint over the mold and call it a "repair." Within about a week, the mold would come right back. This wasn't a one-time issue—it continued throughout my entire lease despite multiple maintenance requests. Be cautious if you live in or are considering these apartments. There is a medium-to-large dog that frequently roams the neighborhood without supervision and approaches other dogs. This has been an ongoing issue, and the dog has repeatedly run up to mine during walks. I’m concerned about safety and health, as my dog was exposed to what appeared to be lice after one of these encounters.
