Lived at Deer Lakes for 4 years. It's a beautiful property, especially if you love nature. Sitting down to watch the ducks and geese in the lake was often the highlight my day. The tradeoff is you have to walk around the geese droppings from time to time, but for me that was a small price to pay. It's a calm and peaceful environment, great for families. Ashley has been an amazing and tentative property manager. Always making sure to inform everyone about things going on such as food trucks, repair scheduling etc. The location is also nicely located not too far from shopping areas, or the city of Buffalo. University of Buffalo is also not the far away for colleges students looking off campus or near by.
A huge thank you to Ashley, the property manager, for being absolutely amazing. She is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with anything that comes up. I lived at Deer Lakes Apartments from 2020 to 2026, and had a great experience throughout my time there. The community is quiet, peaceful, and located in a very safe neighborhood. The apartments are spacious and well designed, and having an in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher made everyday living very convenient. I love how peaceful the community is, and I think Ashley is the most responsive and genuine landlord I’ve had in Buffalo. Also, the maintenance team is friendly and great at answering requests in a timely manner. :)
