I was there and I gotten hurt by one of the staff and she left bruises under my stand it was a bad place to be at
They are horrible people the only thing they do is traumatize girls. I was there for years and they have a horrible system. I feel soooo bad for the girls there.
As an employee of Deer Lake Girls Home for many years, I can't imagine a more caring and safe environment for this population. Staff are always 2 or 3 deep and follow other strict protocols. Each girl is given a full range of opportunities and support.
