This is a terrible program that will brainwash your partner, encourage them to abandon their values, and be completely self-centered. My husband went here for PTSD treatment and two weeks in decided he wanted to abandon his family out of nowhere. The therapists have no accountability and simply feed people what they want to hear. Deer Hollow literally saved my life, not to mention my marriage and my relationship with my daughter. The clinicians were great and the program worked because I leaned in.
My time at Deer Hollow Recovery-Trailside was a deeply valuable experience. The staff all worked together to use a variety of modalities to help support me where I was at, and took the time to let me move at the speed that was right for me. Between the experienced clinicians, varied modalities, and environment that is Deer Hollow; I couldn’t recommend this program enough for those who have encountered trauma’s and are in need of the care needed to recover. I’m eternally grateful for my experience at Deer Hollow and know that if it can help someone like myself, it can help anyone in need of intensive care.
DH has changed my life. I was very skeptical to come here but I needed to put myself first and my life has changed. The staff and peers were amazing at the trail side house and I have a new outlook on life. have battle with addiction for years and they helped me gain so much knowledge on tools I can use.
