I have mixed feelings about this resort. The location is beautiful, especially with its proximity to the creek. However, the condition of the bathroom was quite disappointing. It looked shabby and worn, with visible stains on the ceiling, and was clearly in need of renovation and better maintenance. This significantly affected the overall impression of the room. If you find yourself in Estes Park, you definitely need to stay at Deer Resort. Excellent service, friendly staff, and it's only 4 minutes from the entrance to RMNP.

We've gone here for years. One of our favorites places. Quiet. Right next to small creek, beautiful spot. Clean and very well maintained. Reasonable room price. Easy walk to downtown on paved bike trail. Friendly staff. Also easy drive to park entrance.
I highly recommend staying at Deer Crest Resort! This place is so peaceful, clean, and the prices are beyond reasonable. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the river and enjoying the complimentary smores! We will definitely come back and stay again next year!
