Dr Shenoi has been an excellent psych for our teen for the past two years. The reviews I read here don't match our personal experience. She has been cautious about medications. Willing to offer referrals to therapists and genuinely cares how our child is doing. Overall focus is more clinical - she wants to know what level of therapy we're at, if it's helpful, how meds are doing, etc.
She listens and does a great job with teenagers.
Dr. Shenoi charges 150 dollars for a 15 minute visit which does not include a discussion about the side effects and warnings about taking a certain medication. Recently, because my sister and I talk to her more, as in 10 or so minutes more, in our visits, she’s been charging us extra.
