I've been seeing her for a while. Takes a LONG time to get in to see her and office. She's very soft spoken and doesn't have a warm, approachable personality. At first she dismissed my symptoms. It was the persistence of my GP that got me a diagnosis. Basically does the minimum. She's not awful but considering changing because of distance and it doesn't feel like a close-working relationship like what I have with other doctors.
Dr. Hassuna changed my treatment after years of successful results with oxycodone and other R A medications. She did not factor in how much better my quality of life was while I was treated with the opiod. She allowed public opinion to dictate the course of treatment rather than the proven results of past treatment. Quality of Life should always be given a top priority over personal preferences.
I was a patient of Dr. Hassuna for several years at Holzer. I have Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. She treated me with several medications. Some worked, some didn't. I always took my medication. I always had my blood work done. I kept all appointments. Today I received a letter from her telling me that I have not lived up to my "obligations as a patient". She dropped me as a patient. For no other reason. I do not even know what that means. What a lousy thing to do to someone!
Dr. Hassuna is very compassionate and listens. She will evaluate and orchestrate a game plan to help you with Rheumatology problem. I highly recommend her.
She's very caring and concerned about you as an individual.

I would highly recommend Dr Hussuna! She is very thorough, compassionate, and she is great about answering questions and never makes you feel rushed . I absolutely give her 5 stars !!!!
