*STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS * I took my work truck to Armen to have a brown slip done on short notice. The truck has had a major overhaul less than a year ago by Adtrans Hino in mascot. Armen did a visual inspection of the vehicle and determined defects that would require fixing. Passed by to get a blue slip for my motorcycle. He charged me AUD 180 for that service, explaining it would cost more because the bike was imported. Afterwards, I was at other workshops (car/motorbike) and all mentioned that AUD 180 for a blue slip is a scam. This guy should get his accreditation canceled (I'm not the first one - see other Google reviews).
Great service! Armel really cares and just wants you safe while saving you money.
Doesn’t even know how to change a wiper blade. Broke mine. Complete rip off. Wouldn’t trust this guy to work on a car. Shame.
Mechanics (like real estate agents, I am one..) get a pretty bad rap and to be honest most deserve it! Armen has been looking after me since I was his neighbour a few years back and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He can come off a bit grumpy at times, but he really cares about getting you the best and most cost effective solution to getting you back on the road as fast as possible. Highly recommended. No BS old school mechanic.
