In all honesty this isn’t the worst place to live but definitely not the best. All depends on where you draw the line and what you can tolerate. I’ve been here for five months now and it’s always something. The AC is out half the time and lately I noticed that AC can change to match the thermostat in the hallway, so if I turn it off because no one is home. I came here in July of 2023 to get my masters at VCU Medical. This has been an incredible experience. Deco is smack dab in the centre of everything. I parked my vehicle in the garage and took my bike everywhere. It's conveniently located. Every month we were surrounded by some kind of activity. We are a 3 minute walk to the convention centre where there were dozens of events. Once day I woke up to see thousands of joggers in a marathon. DON’T live here!!!!! The a/c and heat work about 75% of the time and they don’t care!!!!
